Vague Offset

Instructor: Rachael Henry

Offset is a common command in Rhino space, used in patterning, drawing and to compensate for material or material thickness. It’s also very useful when designing toolpaths for our plastic printing robot. Layers of plastic, often the same offset path, must be added together to create objects. This workshop aims to have students become familiar with the FABLab’s Robotic plastic extruder and offsetting as they draw and design toolpaths.
