Laser Cut Joinery
Instructor: Mark Meier
In this workshop we’ll be learning about laser cut joinery. The project calls for making an acrylic box, 8” long x 4” wide x 3” high. It is to be made from an aggregation of laser cut parts. The logic of the geometry, and its assembled form should be keyed into your joinery choices. You should design the joinery so the box holds itself together with minimal glue. The box should be strong enough to be stacked up into a small wall along with all the other boxes made in this course.
